SCMEP’s Quality Essentials Program (QEP) is designed to address the growing need for skilled quality workers in manufacturing. Learn the basics of Quality Management Systems including ISO9001:2015, AS9100 Rev D and IATF16949:2016 and audit principles used when conducting audits of quality systems adhering to these standards.
Day 3: Error Proofing Basics – February 9, 2023
Learn the fundamentals of identifying process challenges using PFMEA and implementing error proofing mechanisms to mitigate risk of recurrence. Gain an understanding of how Cost of Quality impacts an organization.
Day 4: Problem Solving Using PDCA, A3, RCA – February 16, 2023
Discover Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), A3, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to effectively solve problems in the workplace.
Day 5: Quality Tools & Techniques – February 23, 2023
Learn the basics of quality improvement, quality audits, and the seven quality tools.
