For the past decade, SCMEP has allowed me to utilize my 30+ years of experience of leading and improving small to medium sized manufacturing companies, to help South Carolina manufacturers find the most efficient paths to create top to bottom engagement and lasting improvements. My passion is to solve problems through collaborate tools such as Kaizen and Lean Deployment, and to help drive sustainable cultural changes throughout an organization. At SCMEP, I have the privilege and resources to help companies blend the time honored techniques of Lean, Operational Excellence, and Leadership with new and exciting technologies such as automation, IOT, and analytics, and to assist clients in the Upstate of South Carolina to manage the challenges of a global economy.
My career includes successfully leading and supporting global projects and operations in Industrial Products, Powered Lawn and Garden, Builders Hardware, Tier 1 Automotive, OEM Aerospace, and M&A Support to re-organized production operations and supply chains, consolidate and relocate production efforts, reduce costs, yield shorter lead times, reduce working capital, and improve quality through the use of Lean Kaizen deployment, theory of constraints, and project management.
