With a new, updated look SCMEP leaps forward
SCMEP has been a longstanding member of the South Carolina community, helping manufacturing companies grow their businesses and increase their revenue. The non-profit offers manufacturers a multitude of ways to increase their business from no cost competitiveness reviews, training classes, and individualized programs that assess the entirety of a manufacturer’s needs.
With the growth of the industry, SCMEP knew it was time to develop their own brand and has established an updated logo, website, and materials. When asked about the refreshed look, Channing Childers, Marketing Coordinator for SCMEP, said, “The manufacturing industry has changed tremendously over the past few decades. It was time to update our brand to more accurately reflect who we are and what we have to offer to the state of South Carolina. We feel as though our efforts will enable us to provide more effective information to prospects and existing clients.”
The SCMEP logo received a refreshed color scheme, consisting of a slate blue and a burnt orange tone. All printed materials were updated to reflect the new color scheme and tones, which provides a modern, 21st century feel. The SCMEP brand now has a consistent and cohesive look, which is reflected in the website.
A new website serves as the crowning jewel in the brand refresh. The website includes new photography and videos, streamlined user experience and function, updated content, and a mobile friendly design. Chuck Spangler, President of SCMEP said, “Over the last 20 years, South Carolina has become one of the most advanced manufacturing states in the country. As our state evolves, our organization must do so as well. We are thrilled with our new branding and believe it presents an enhanced avenue of communication and commitment to the manufacturing community of South Carolina.”
