The SC SBDC is collaborating with the Texas South-West SBDC Network’s Center for Government Contracting (SBDC CGC) and the UTSA Cybersecurity Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CyManII) to offer a unique training program to prepare manufacturing businesses for upcoming cybersecurity regulations.
In this training program, attendees will learn how to improve cybersecurity practices for small to medium-sized manufacturers by focusing on Operational Technology (OT) cyber protection. After the program, no-cost, follow-up one-on-one sessions will be available through SC SBDC cybersecurity specialists.
COURSE OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to demonstrate the basic methods of securing an OT environment along with identifying the different components between IT and OT with the following tasks:
· Recognizing a threat and its characteristics
· Identify how the operator can impact the vulnerability management lifecycle
· Distinguish the ownership of a Risk Management framework
· Describe the reporting actions they would take upon learning about a risk or vulnerability within their company.
