AWS Certified Resistance Welding Technician (CRWT)

The Certified Resistance Welding Technician (CRWT) credential is a new benchmark for the evaluation of resistance welding personnel that validates demonstrated skills and abilities in resistance welding principles, processes and equipment, through a combination of education, experience and examination.

Co-developed by AWS and RWMA, the credential ensures welding professionals across the resistance welding industry can demonstrate the knowledge and skills essential for the CRWT. The exam spans an array of principles, processes, metallurgy and machinery. To ensure the most comprehensive training, AWS provides a variety of study options candidates can leverage to prepare for the rigorous exam.

This 2-day instructor-led course is an in-depth review of terminology, materials and techniques covered in the AWS resistance welding standards and has been designed to prepare those working in resistance welding operations for the CRWT exam.
