Fluid Power (FPX)

This course offers a foundational understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic components, circuits, controls, their applications, and drawing standards. Trainees will use simulators to build circuits and analyze systems. The course is designed for those seeking hands-on experience.

Objective:

By the end of this course, trainees will be able to:

• Apply safety procedures related to pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
• Understand the internal operations of pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• Read and interpret schematics.
• Operate circuits and understand fluid flow characteristics.
• Differentiate between flow and pressure concerning speed and force.
• Perform calculations for pressure, force, and area in circuits.

• Pneumatic Directional Control Valves
• Pneumatic Flow Control Components
• Hydraulic Directional Control Valves
• Hydraulic Cylinders
• Hydraulic Flow Control Components
