Working with a Fortune 500 company in the mid-80s, I began my transition from the then traditional manufacturing environment to the revolutionary Lean environment. The new culture and methodology became ingrained in my thinking and managing process. As a result, I became the go-to manager for taking on new acquisitions for transition to Lean. A 70% reduction in cycle times and substantial improvement of Working Capital Turns was achieved. I understood the uneasiness of entrenched employees in transitioning to counterintuitive approaches, and used this understanding to generate success for long-term profit and performance.

My industry experience spans 27 years in high-volume manufacturing, including Operations Management with P&L responsibilities. Over the past 15 years, I have worked domestically and internationally with over 400 companies in everything from healthcare and telecommunications, to all types of manufacturing environments. I am able to transition my knowledge in a way that companies feel equipped with the necessary tools for long-term survival.

Being a part of the SCMEP team allows me to work with professionals who practice our core values continually.
