The NIST SP 800-171 course will cover all 14 domains, or families, of controls to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information, CUI, in non-federal agencies.
We will discuss:
- Basic and derived controls in each domain.
- Both the requirements and methods of complying.
- Changes in NIST SP 800-171 R3.
Who Should attend?
Any company that has, or anticipates having, a contract with the Department of Defense that contains the requirement to comply with DFARS 252.205-7012 should attend. This can include products or services provided to other companies acting as DoD suppliers. It is expected that this DFARS 252.205-7012 requirement will be adopted by other Federal agencies in the future.

What is the Program?
This program provides funding and assistance for South Carolina manufacturers seeking to improve their cybersecurity and data security posture and to become compliant with a range of cybersecurity standards including ISO 27001:2022.
Who’s eligible to attend?
Any employee of a manufacturer with a physical location in SC for at least one year and having at least four or more full-time employees.
