SCMEP, a non-profit resource for South Carolina manufacturing companies, today announced that the Board of Directors has unanimously elected Chuck Spangler as President.
“After a thorough and deliberate national selection process, the Board of Directors is delighted that Chuck will lead SCMEP as we continue to expand our business consulting services for South Carolina manufacturers,” said Bob Hurst, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Spangler has served SCMEP for 22 years, most recently as the COO, where he handled operations. Spangler has assisted and trained thousands of manufacturing companies over his professional career to improve operational and financial performance. Spangler’s specialties include Supply Chain, Theory of Constraints, Lean Manufacturing and Family Business Advisor.
“I am honored the SCMEP Board of Directors chose me to bring a shared vision and change to SCMEP,” said Spangler. “I look forward to working with the SCMEP Board and employees to drive SCMEP to new heights.”
Spangler earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textile Management from NC State University.
